Pan to cook shrimp
Pot to cook grits (no lid required)
Stove
KnifeĀ
Cutting Board
measuring cups/spoons
Ingredients (4 portions)
1/2 cup heavy cream
3.5 cups water
1 cup stone ground grits
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, peeled before start of demo
4 cloves garlic, peeled before start of demo
1 bell pepper, your choice of color
1 cup low-sodium chicken stock, white wine, or light-colored, mild-flavored beer
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (any flour will do)
1 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail off (thawed before start of demo)
fruit to serve
