Maple Za'atar Brussels Sprouts with Fried Paneer

Pan to fry paneer
sheet pan to roast Brussels sprouts
Stove
Oven
Knife
Cutting Board
measuring cups/spoons
microplane, if zesting lemons

Za'atar
You can use purchased za'atar (from the spice aisle) or make your own during the demo
1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon ground sumac (or zest of 2 lemons)
1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
1/2 tablespoon dried marjoram
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1 pinch coarse salt
Other Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons ghee (or butter or more olive oil)
1 pound Brussels sprouts (or other veggie of your choice, i.e. broccoli)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt, like kosher salt
1 block of paneer (in the specialty cheese section of your grocery store)
juice of one lemon (optional)
